Paris with a Petznick

Due to the fact that my best friend in the world is adventurous, clever, cultured and wonderful she has decided to study abroad this year and her first destination- Paris!

This brought me a lucky opportunity to revisit the land of wine, cheese, pastries and love. In comparison to my whirlwind visit in June, we took it slow, eating at restaurants, walking around the city, and visiting with friends. I felt like I was on vacation!

Here are some photos for you to peruse.

As you can see Paris is amazing. I will have to go back again. I am falling in love with the city. Must admit, though, I had the negative stereo type  Parisian experience a few times and find in general that people in Paris (some rude grumps and overly romantic keeners) are not like the people in London (polite and posh but subtly rude at times) AND not even close to the people in Canada (magical beings on this world). You can see I am biased- and maybe a tad homesick. Good thing I had a Canadian with me the whole time ❤
